Flight Program on 10 September 2006
|
The planning of our flight program is on "short final" During a 90-minute flight program – which is being shown twice on Sunday (1100 hours and 1500 hours) – we would like to present the German Army Aviation helicopter fleet to you.
The start of the show will be marked by paratroopers jumping out of a C160, followed by solo displays of our state-of-the-art training helicopter EC135 and an impressive performance of our "workhorse", the Sikorsky CH-53.
See the aerobatics of our liaison and observation helicopter Bo 105.
For the first time displayed on a military airshow: The new attack helicopter TIGER. The "German-French Training Center" in Le Luc (Provence) will attend the show with the German and French model of the TIGER.
Further solo displays include "rapelling", "winch-procedures" and firefighting by air.
A crisis scenario operation as it may occur in Bundeswehr missions all over the world anytime will exemplify for you the AAVN concept of employment in close cooperation with special forces on the ground. Keep an eye on the projection of paratroopers , airmobile infantry with their armored infantry fighting vehicles and the recovery of casualties.
