DAY OF THE GERMAN ARMY AVIATORS 2006
|
During the last few years, the German Army Aviation has experienced a swift development. Following the end of the east-west conflict and in the framework of the new orientation of the Bundeswehr, the range of missions was fundamentally altered and considerably enlarged. Before long, new modern weapon systems like the TIGER or the NH 90 will be introduced. Tactics as well as techniques are facing an immediate quantum leap.
The German AAVN supplies a major effort towards the implementation of these future-oriented tasks. Today, it presents itself as one of the most modern Bw schools and as the centralized training facility for helicopter pilots. Moreover, Bückeburg with its absolutely unique Helicopter Museum and the Helicopter Forum (reg.) represents an internationally acknowledged centre of competence for rotary winged aircraft.
The combination of these circumstances has induced us to organize the first Day Of The German Army Aviators in 2006. After almost 30 years another major flight day is going to take place on 10 September here in Bückeburg, for which we await as many as 70 000 visitors. As a run-up to this event, the Helicopter Association (reg.) invites professionals and military representatives to a symposium with the topic “Air-mobility of the German Army”.
Consequently, the “Day Of The German Army Aviators 2006” marks an outstanding event for Bückeburg and the entire region and it serves equally as a centre of attraction for helicopter enthusiast and specialist from all over the world. We would be pleased to welcome you as well to the county of “Schaumburg”. All pertaining information are available here on this homepage. If you have any particular questions, you can address them directly to our PoC.
Be part of the first “Day Of The German Army Aviators”.
